The vest is collarless with a soft V-neckline and button-front closure, cut close through the body with a slight kick at the shoulder for structure without stiffness. Underneath it, the skirt-trousers pick up the same check and fall into soft, deep pleats from the waist, giving them the drape and movement of a skirt while still functioning as trousers underneath.
How to wear it
Worn together, the set has a matched-suit polish that's ready for the office or a daytime event with zero extra styling. Split it up, though, and it earns its place twice over: the vest layers over a fine knit or a crisp white shirt with jeans, and the skirt-trousers pair just as well with a plain black top or a fitted turtleneck for a more graphic, monochrome look.
