Description
The same oversized shirt dress in a deep black cotton, embroidered with the same scattered nautical motifs — seahorse, coral, shell, sailboat and swimmer — picked out in bright thread against the dark ground. Made in Italy by Barbara Alvisi, it trades the white version's beach-cover-up feel for something you can wear straight through the evening.
Fabric & feel
Woven from 100% cotton, the fabric has the same crisp, breathable hand as its white and red colour siblings, with the embroidery reading more vividly against the black background than it does on lighter grounds.
Fit & sizing
Sized S, M and L with the same relaxed, oversized cut — dropped shoulders, a chest patch pocket, long sleeves with button cuffs, and a curved dipped hem that sits above the knee at the sides. Because the fit is intentionally loose, most customers find their usual size works fine even with room to spare.
How to wear it
